Overall, we had a positive experience with Mark, Margaret and their crew. Mark was very accommodating and quick to respond when I had questions or concerns. Margaret always kept me abreast of when workers would be on site and made certain to communicate with me when and if schedules needed to be altered. The quality of the work was very good. There were a couple of instances when something needed to be redone at my request, and was corrected without hesitation. Updating the kitchen in our 26 year old post and beam home, we knew would be fraught with challenges unique to that type of construction. With these things in mind, Mark worked with us to design an updated kitchen plan with more efficient use of space. During the construction phase he worked with us to address issues we had including what we thought was a dripping noise within a wall, as well as soundproofing the bathroom waste pipe. Feeling good about the kitchen, plans to finish/update our upstairs bathroom were soon mulled over and we decided to have Mark take a look at that as well. Mark helped us to design a new vanity area with improved lighting and updated plumbing without doing an entire makeover. While on site, Mark and his crew used their insight, skill, and expertise to help solve some other lighting and repair issues including reinstalling a bifold door and enclosing some exposed ductwork. Comparatively speaking, I’m not sure how we stacked up as far as special needs were concerned, but ultimately many things were improved above and beyond the initial kitchen update. This was our second project with The Cabinet Shop: complete kitchen renovation, with laundry room and bathroom. From the inception Mark, who designed our kitchen, came up with ideas and products that vastly improved the kitchen. Once designed they helped us through selection of fixtures, counter tops. appliances, and sinks. The cabinet workmanship was outstanding. All the workers were knowledgeable, pleasant and polite, and always patient with our questions. Todd, who was the project lead, was outstanding. He made sure everything was functional, the area was cleaned up, and left the house in a manageable state with access to our washer, dryer, and refrigerator. I can now honesty say I have the most beautiful bathroom in town. It is so expertly executed, how each tile blends into the next creating a relaxing and calming environment.
